Personal Introduction:

I was born in 1986, and grew up at Liaocheng in Shandong Province. I received my bachelor’s degree in medicine and a Master’s degree in nursing psychology at Shandong University. Then I switched my research interest to psychiatric genetics, and spent two years working as a Join PhD student in Prof. Catharina Lavebratt’s lab at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. I defended my thesis and got my PhD in Shandong University. I received my postdoctoral training at Peking University Sixty Hospital in Prof. Lin Lu’s lab from April 2017 to May 2020, and then established my lab at Peking University in July.

2020-present Assistant Professor, School of Nursing, Peking University. I am lecturing at an undergraduate course on mental health promotion, as well as advanced and research level courses mainly in psychiatry and psychology. I am the main supervisor of 1 PhD student and 4 master students.

Research Areas:

My research interests include but not limited to: 1) Identifying risk factors and biomarkers for psychiatric disorders, with a particular focus on depression and insomnia; 2) investigating the mental health status of patients with chronic conditions, and the link between mental health conditions and the prognosis of their primary illnesses; 3) the parenting experiences and needs of primary caregivers of children with autism, and trying to develop support interventions to improve outcomes for family caregivers of children with autism.
